We are delighted to have Rosie Lugosi join us as our host for the evening. Rosie Lugosi, the Vampire Queen, mistress of ceremonies, performs twisted cabaret and has been tantalising audiences worldwide with her unique blend of camp humour, mayhem and song for many years.
Come and experience the 'Cabaret Macabre' at the Fulford Arms. Rosie will be joined by A Mere Kat, A Short Dark Stranger, Alice Nicholls, Marie Devilreux and Victor & The Bully.

Mslexicon is a house party like no other.
Part brainstorm, part bootcamp, part celebration, it is a chance to nurture your writing craft and career with the help of leading agents, authors, tutors and mentors, all hand-picked for the depth of their knowledge and their commitment to supporting women writers.
Mslexicon 2019 is for writers of creative prose: novels and short fiction, memoir and biography, and all types of narrative non-fiction. The programme has been designed to foster creativity and provide you with the skills and confidence you need to achieve your writing goals.
Bring your book idea, your first page, your pitch, your career question, for individual 1-2-1 feedback from our guest agents and book doctors. Our group workshops, talks and panel discussions will cover craft issues such as character development, voice and plot, as well as career advice on publishing trends, performance skills, prioritising your creativity, and how to cope with the submissions rollercoaster. And there will be lots of opportunities between sessions for networking with professionals with a reputation for supporting women writers.
